Funeral for Shirley Smith, 58, of Falkville was Tuesday, May 1, at 2 p.m. at Barnett Chapel Church with Bro. J.B. Dunn officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in New Center Cemetery
Mrs. Smith died Saturday, April 28, 2007, at her residence. She was born September 26, 1948, in Morgan County to Thomas Roden and Olgie Roden. She was a member of Barnett Chapel Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Smith and a son, Henry Allen Roberson.
She is survived by four daughters, Nancy Roberson and Tammy Blackwood, both of Hartselle, Geana McGill of Albertville and Lorrain Williams of Falkville; four brothers, Adam Roden, Wayne Roden and Kenneth Roden, all of Hartselle and Robert Roden of Lawrence County; a sister, Susan Greer of Spartanburg, S.C.; son-in-law, Robert Blackwood; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Joey Early, A. J. Roberson, Jason Roberson, Justin Williams, Corey Williams and Bruce Englebert.
