Funeral for Ruth C. Craig, 82, of Somerville was Sunday, May 6, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Raymond Feltman and Tony Burns officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur.
Mrs. Craig died Thursday, May 3, 2007, at her residence. She was born January 15, 1925, in Etowah County to Frank Couey and Aner Keenum Couey. She was a member of Summerbrook Church of God of Prophecy in Somerville and a resident of Somerville for the past seven years. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and six sisters.
She is survived by a son, Melvin D. Almaroad of Cosky, Tenn.; two daughters, Rebecca Barnett of Fayetteville, Ga. and Claudia Walden of Somerville; a brother, Tracy Couey of Jackson, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David M. Walden, Mike Walden, Joseph Gomes, Ross Barnett, Reese Barnett and Scotty Woodard.
