Dr. Guy Ramon Woodall

A graveside service for Dr. Guy Ramon Woodall, 80, of Houston, Tex., will be Saturday, May 19, at 3 p.m. at Hartselle Memory Gardens with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Dr. Woodall died Saturday, May 12, 2007, in Houston, Tex. He was born June 4, 1926, in Morgan County to Alfred Telfare Woodall and Johnnie Gray Woodall. He was a retired college English professor at Tennessee Tech University and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member and former minister of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Trannie Elliott.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Woodall of Houston, Tex.; a daughter, Ellen Sutphen and husband Rob of Spring, Tex.; a granddaughter, Abigail Sutphen; and two nieces, Janice Bobo and Judy Elliott.
