Funeral for Maggie Childers Coffman, 87, of Eva was Thursday, May 17, at 1 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steven Smith officiating.
Burial was in Childers Cemetery.
Mrs. Coffman died Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at Cullman Medical Center. She was born March 13, 1920, in Morgan County to Wally Childers and Viola Jacks Childers. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Herman Coffman and a daughter, Cathrine Coffman Mooney.
She is survived by three sons, Lonnie Coffman of Cullman and Larry Coffman and Billy Coffman, both of Eva; five daughters, Linda Hennings of Hartselle, Shirley Johnson of Danville, Faye Carter and Martha Hill, both of Eva, and Janet Hicks of Decatur; three sisters, Velma Taylor, Omie Coffman and Lelia Wilbank; 23 grandchildren; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Greg Johnson, Stacey Coffman, Derrick Coffman, Ricky Mooney, Mike Hennings and Tim Bunney.
