Funeral for Alvin Monroe Shadrick, 91, of Hartselle was Wednesday, June 6, at 10 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Redmond officiating.
Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery with Masonic rites.
Mr. Shadrick died Sunday, June 3, 2007, at Hospice of Marshall County Shepherds Cove in Albertville. He was born January 1, 1916, in Morgan County to Charlie and Elizabeth Whisenant Shadrick. He was retired from the city of Hartselle. He was a member of First Baptist Church and a member of Masonic Lodge No. 398.
He is survived by a son, James Shadrick and wife Novalle of Nashville, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Robert Daniel Brown, Danny Ray Childers, Anthony Wayne Childers, Donnie Lynn Child-ers, Bobby Lynn Childers, Joshua Ryan Thompson, Johnny Wayne Childers and Phillip Ray Shadrick.
Honorary pallbearers were members of Masonic Lodge No. 398.
