Four Hartselle athletes named to All-Star Sports Week teams

Three Hartselle juniors and one senior were recently named to teams at the All-Star Sports Week in Huntsville during the week of July 9-13. J.C. Bates was named to the North All-Star baseball team as an infielder and Kristy Pevahouse was named to the North All-Star softball team as an outfielder. Jessi Smith was named to the North All-Star girls basketball team and senior Dusty Schofield was named to the All-Star football team.
The baseball All-Star Game is scheduled for July 9 at 4 p.m. at Joe Davis Stadium. The softball All-Star Game will be July 11 at 6 p.m. at the Metro Kiwanis Sportsplex. The basketball All-Star Game will be July 12 at 6 p.m. Spragins Hall on the campus of UAH. The All-Star football game will be July 13 at 7 p.m. at Louis Crews Stadium on the campus of Alabama A&M University. Tickets are $5 per event.
