Funeral for Annie Mae Thompson, 89, of Decatur was Saturday, June 16, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Bullard officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Thompson died Thurs., June 14, 2007 at Sunbridge Care &Rehabilation of Decatur. She was born Feb. 20, 1918, in Morgan County to Lawson Lawrence and Minnie Plemons Lawrence. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Thompson and four brothers, Billow Lawrence, Herman Lawrence, Percy Lawrence and Fred Lawrence.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Louise Lawrence of Hartselle; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Clarence Peacher, Kenneth Lawrence, Ronnie Peacher, Gerald Segars, Ron Shelley and Wayne Tapscott.
Honorary pallbearers were Donnie Lawrence and Michael Lawrence.
