Buy a flock, help HHS Performers

If you've seen a suspicious flock of flamingos in Hartselle recently, you're seeing the results of a unique fundraising idea from the Hartselle High School Performers.
HHS Performers are raising money to pay for a New York concert tour this spring. The trip costs each child and parent about $1,250.
As one of its fundraisers, the Performers are putting a flock (usually about 15 or so) of flamingos, along with a sign, in the yard of an unsuspecting person. A note is left so the person knows who to contact for flock removal. For $15 the flock will be picked up and relocated to the yard of their choice. For an additional $10, the person can purchase flock insurance to avoid being made into a temporary flamingo habitat again. For $25, you can purchase permanent flock insurance.
There are currently three flocks moving throughout the city.
