Funeral for Joseph Mack Crow, 30, of Mobile was Wednesday, June 20, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Sparkman officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens with a military graveside service.
Mr. Crow died Sunday, June 17, 2007, in Jackson County, Miss. He was born Sept. 29, 1976, in Morgan County. He was a 1995 graduate of Hartselle High School, a member of the 1994 Hartselle baseball state championship team and a four-year Hartselle football player. In 1997, he entered the U. S. Marine Corps and served until 2002. He was honor graduate of his platoon in basic training and was honorably discharged as a sergeant.
He was a member of the former Immanuel Baptist Church in Hartselle and was employed at Austal USA in Mobile.
He was a loving son, devoted brother, caring grandson, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew and a friend to all. He was loved by so many and will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Curtis Crow, Beulah Slater Mays and Olin D. Slater.
He is survived by his parents, Joe and Lynn Crow of Hartselle; a brother, Tim Crow and wife Emily of Alabaster; a sister, Lisa King and husband Charlie of Hartselle; a niece, Kaylon King; a nephew, Hunter King; and a grandmother, Anna Mae Crow of Hartselle.
Pallbearers were Hunter King, Charlie King, Jon Paul Crow, Dylan Crow, Jared Bradford, Adam Gilbert, Jim Cochran, and Eric Crow.
Honorary pallbearers were Preston Grammer, band members of Sweet G 90, Larry Crow, Hootie Reeves, Charlie Chaney, Shane Blanton, Brian Hampton, Larry Slater, Drew Harris and Andy Olive.
