Funeral for Billy Joe Dunawa Sr., 71, of Priceville was Tuesday, June 26, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Green officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Cemetery.
Mr. Dunaway died Saturday, June 23, 2007, at Parkway Medical Center in Decatur. He was both July 27, 1935, in Morgan County to Thomas C. Dunaway and Dooma Ethel Lynn Dunaway. He was owner of Priceville Contractors Inc. and was preceded in death by two sisters, Arlene Sivley and Lavella McGee.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia T. Dunaway of Priceville; a son, Billy J. Dunaway Jr. and wife Angie of Priceville; four daughters, Cheryl White of Hartselle and Cathy Hamilton and husband Jimmy, Lisa Graves and husband Brett and Susan Rogers and husband John, all of Priceville; a brother, Gilbert Dunaway of Valhermoso Springs; two sisters, Dorothy Watkins and Ina Johnston, both of Somerville; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Brian Hamilton, Nicholas Gutherie, Michale Sorenson, Taylor Dunaway, Chris Hopper and John Rogers.
Honorary pallbearers were Duncan Eubanks and Tate Rogers.
