Jura Mae Dobbs

Funeral for Jura Mae Dobbs, 80, of Somerville was Monday, June 25, at 2 p.m. at Center Springs Methodist Church with the Revs. Jack Redfearn, Randy Evers and Michael Mason officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Dobbs died Saturday, June 23, 2007, at her residence. She was born May 5, 1927, in Morgan County to Purley Gaston Winton and Magnolia Lynn Winton. She was a member of Center Springs Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Howard "Dude" Dobbs and two brothers, J. D. Winton and Vester Winton.
She is survived by four sons, Gary Dobbs and wife Sue, Michael Dobbs, Jerry Dobbs and wife Joan and Steve Dobbs and wife Tammy, all of Somerville; two daughters, Marietta "Rita" Waugh and husband Bobby of Somerville; Martha Eaton and husband Brent of Hartselle; a brother, Iris Winton and wife Norma of Somerville; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandson.
Pallbearers were David Winton, Alan Dobbs, Dusty Eaton, Daniel Champion, Keith Waugh and Robert Freeman.
