Funeral for Jerry K. Jenkins, 57, of Asheville, N.C. was Monday, July 2, at 1 p.m. at Groce Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Julian, N.C.
Mr. Jenkins died Saturday, June 29, 2007, in Ashville. He was a former resident of Hartselle and Decatur. He was owner of Hearthstone Construction Co., a member of the Lions Club and a former member of the board of directors of the Home Builders Association of Morgan County.
He is survived by his mother, Dot Jenkins Elingburg of Arden, N.C.; his father, Lawrence Jenkins and wife Mable of Asheville; a daughter, Regina Jenkins of Asheville; two sons, Brent Jenkins of Alabama and Eric Jenkins of California; a sister, Jane Banks and husband Jerry of Swannanoa, N.C.; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Jonathan, Abbie, Tyler, Joseph and Alyssia; and a niece and nephew, Whitney and Joshua Banks.
