Funeral for Jewel Dempsey Ledlow, 65, of Hartselle was Friday, June 29, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Nelson officiating. Burial was in Herring Cemetery. Mrs. Ledlow died Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at her residence. She was born June 7, 1942, to Jack Dempsey and Ruby James Dempsey.
She is survived by her husband, Hardy Ledlow; two sons, Jeffery Ledlow and Earl Dempsey; four daughters, Vivian Draper, Bevery Birch, Susan Martin and Priscilla Vincent; two brothers, Roy Woodard and Tony Woodard; two sisters, Faye Woodard and Judy Woodard; and six grandchildren.
