Funeral for Leonard Calvin Cryer, 81, of Falkville was Saturday, June 30, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Carroll officiating.
Burial was in Moss Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Cryer died Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at his residence. He was a member of Victory Fellowship for 14 years, a retiree of the U.S. Army and a veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by two wives, Rosie Lee Cryer and Brenda Cryer.
He is survived by four sons, Leonard Wayne Cryer, Cleveland Cryer, and Adam Blake Cryer, all of Falkville and Daniel Ray Cryer of Hanceville; six daughters, Elizabeth Simmons of Trinity, Virginia Jackson, Phyllis V8inson and Bertha Wills, all of Falkville, Patricia Brady and Chasity Welborn, both of South Carolina; three brothers, Lloyd Cryer of Texas, John Cryer of Somerville and Joe Cryer of Albertville; three sisters, Annie Mae Houser of Guntersville, Alice Anton of Florida and Shirley Vogler of or New Jersey; 23 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
