Man charged with criminal mischief

A Trinity man is charged with criminal mischief after he allegedly tried to break into a Pepsi machine.
Christopher Chad Boyles of 8860 County Road 214 Lot No. 1, is being held on criminal mischief and possession of burglar's tools charges on $1,250 bond.
Decatur police said they received a call July 4 reporting an attempted break-in at a Pepsi machine at 1209 Danville Road. Police at the scene said Boyles was seen near the machine and attempted to leave when officers arrived. He was later stopped by police and burglar's tools were found in the vehicle. Boyles' vehicle also matched the description of the one seen at the scene.
