Funeral for Rebecca Jeanette Mims, 94, of Falkville will be Thursday, July 12, at noon in Parlor B at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Gunter officiating.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon prior to the service.
Mrs. Mims died Monday, July 9, 2007, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was reared on a farm in Arkansas, married Earl Mims in 1934 and moved to Mississippi. They had two children of which one is deceased. She was a Baptist. She is survived by a son, Floyd B. Mims of Somerville; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
