Funeral for Robert Lee Brown, 83, of Hartselle was Saturday, July 7, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Harold Thompson and Wendell Callahan officiating
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Brown died Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at his residence. He was a Baptist and was preceded in death by his wife, Mavis Wynn Brown. He is survived by a brother, Elmer Brown of Hartselle; three sisters, Mavene Holt and Ruth Wallace, both of Hartselle, and Ruby George of Manchester, Tenn; a very special friend, Helen Orick; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Nephews were pallbearers.
The family thanks Hospice of the Valley for their care during their loved one's illness and requests that memorial contributions be made to that organization in lieu of flowers.
