Funeral for Syble W. McWhorter, 82, of Hartselle was Saturday, July 7, at 4 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Harold Thompson officiating.
Burial was in Friendship Cemetery, south of Danville.
Mrs. McWhorter died Friday, July 6, 2007, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Jan. 23, 1925, in Morgan County to Jake Buford Wilbanks and Letha Williams Wilbanks. She was self-employed as a cosmetologist. Her husband, Auburn McWhorter, preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Larry McWhorter of Hartselle; two sisters, Mary Bowling of Hartselle and Edith Harvey of Danville; two grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren;
Friends and family members were pallbearers. Donations may be made to your favorite charity or to Meals on Wheels.
