Funeral for Raford Montgomery, 70, of Falkville was Monday, July 23, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Ayers officiating.
Burial was in Bethlehem West Cemetery in Cullman County.
Mr. Montgomery died Friday, July 20, 2007, at his residence. He was born May 6, 1937, in Cullman County to Vermont Hogan and Murleen Elmore Hogan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Jo Marie Montgomery, three brothers, Clifford Elmore, Otthis "Bud" Elmer and Dewaine Hogan and a sister, Betty Joe Cathey.
He is survived by three daughters, Melissa Holladay and husband Brad and Al Vivian Johnson and husband Roger, all of Falkville, and Nancy Stover and husband Al of Danville; six brothers, Wayne Humphries, Bobby Elmore, Tony Elmore, W.L. Elmore, Winston Elmore and Ronald Hogan; four sisters, Robin Vest, Brenda Quattlebaum, Phyllis Meredith and Carol Holladay; 10 grandchildren, Candy Malin, Connie Speegle, Jody Stover, Stacey Braswell, Amanda Taylor, Cindy Johnson, Earl Johnson, Joey Johnson, Dallas Parson and Austin Parson; eight great-grandchildren, Whitney Lynn, Aaron Lynn, Payton Speegle, Ashley Speegle, Marty Speegle, Memphis Stover, Haley Braswell and Tyler Braswell.
Pallbearers were David Malin, Jody Stover, Joey Johnson, Rufus Glenn Montgomery, Earl Johnson and Rufus Montgomery.
Honorary pallbearers were Aaron Lynn and Austin Parson.
