Funeral for Dona Marie Looney, 82, of Falkville was Monday, July 30, at 1 p.m., at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jacob Watts officiating.
Burial was in Bell Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Looney died Friday, July 27, 2007, at Woodland Village Nursing Home in Cullman. She was born March 24, 1925, in Morgan County to Jackson Russell and Pearlie Eason Russell. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, James Stanley Looney, and two daughters, Carolyn Ann McReath and Wilma Lee Watts.
She is survived by a son, James Lavon Looney of Falkville; a brother, George Russell of Falkville; a sister, Mildred West of Decatur; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Allen McReath, Michael Looney, Stanley Looney, Matthew Looney, Darrin Watts and Larry Watts.
Honorary pallbearers were James Terry and Kenneth Knott.
