A graveside service for Roger D. Laney, 55, of Hartselle was Friday, July 27, at 3 p.m. at Hartselle Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Forman officiating and Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing. .
Mr. Laney died Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at his residence. He was born April 17, 1952, in Cullman County to Doyle Laney and Elsie Payne Laney. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Laney.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Clemons Laney of Hartselle; a son, Brent McNutt of Hartselle; two daughters, Melanie Hunter of Austin, Tex. and Heather Rea of Priceville; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Frank Thurman, Jim Hedge, Ricky Meigs, Joel Butler, Paul Gow and Joe Britnell.
