Funeral for Evelyn Blankenship, 77, of Falkville was Friday, Aug. 3, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Charlie McCravey, Jimmy Maze and Gary Peeples officiating.
Burial was in Mount Tabor Cemetery.
Mrs. Blankenship died Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at Parkway Medical Center in Decatur.
She was born June 24, 1930, in Morgan County to Joseph William Maze and Mamie Lois Reeves Maze.
She is survived by her husband, Theron Hubert Blankenship of Falkville; three sons, Butch Blankenship of Dauphin Island; Mike Blankenship of Harvest and Keith Blankenship of South Carolina; a daughter, Carol Smith of Falkville; three brothers, Buddy Maze, Leo Maze and Jimmy Maze, all of Hartselle; three sisters, Lerlean Southern, Betty McCarter and Bobbie Stinson, all of Hartselle; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
