Funeral for Van Morgan, 74, of Hartselle was Friday, Aug. 10, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Robert Sparkman and Milan Dekich officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Morgan died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007, at UAB Hospital. He was born September 20, 1932, in Cullman County to Grady H. Morgan and Grace Bryant Morgan. He was a member of Hartselle First United Methodist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a barber at Crauswell's Barber Shop in Hartselle for 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Nagatha Morgan of Hartselle; two sons, Johnnie Howell and wife LuJeanne of Hartselle and Rick Morgan and wife Belinda of Jonesboro, Ga.; two daughters, Sandra Hardin and husband Rickey of Falkville and Linda Morgan of Colfax, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Randall Hightower, John Rackley, Lloyd Barham, Charles Bryant, Ron Smith and Bill Howell.
