Funeral for Wylodean S. Clemmons, 87, of Hartselle was Saturday, Aug, 11, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tom T. Campbell officiating. Burial was in Providence Cemetery in Lawrence County.
Mrs. Clemmons died Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born March 8, 1920, in Lawrence County to William Yeat Stutts and Mae Clemmons Stutts. She was a member of Hillsboro Baptist Church and attended the Hartselle Senior Center before she became ill. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arvil Cleo Clemmons.
She is survived by a son, Douglas Glen Clemons and wife Sue of Hartselle; two sisters-in-law, Aggie C. Davise and Ila M. Davise, both of Town Creek; three brothers, Alton Stutts, Henry Stutts and Yeat Stutts Jr., all of Florence; two sisters, Reba Thompson of Green Hill, Ala. and Loyce Deaan of Montpelier, Ohio; two grandsons, Chris Clemons of Lake in the Hill, Ill. and Mike Clemons of Brighton, Mich.; five great-grandchildren, Smantha, Erika, Richard, Grace and Sophea Clemons.
Friends were pallbearers.
