Funeral for Margaret J. Nuby, 62, of Decatur was Saturday, Sept. 1, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John McPeek officiating. Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Nuby died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born May 12, 1945, in Cullman County to William Samuel Hopper and Imogene Ivellen Harden Hopper. She was a member of Pattillo Street Church of God.
She is survived by her husband, Garland L. Nuby of Decatur; two daughters, Angela K. Ciszek of Hartselle and Carolyn D. Carnell and husband John of Hartselle; two brothers, Bobby Hopper of Rayville, La. and Curtis Hopper of Cullman; a sister, Shirley Messer of Lester; and three grandchildren, Brittney Carnell, Derek Ciszek and Keith Ciszek.
Pallbearers were Jeremy Hopper, Gerold Hopper, Dean Harden, Felix Harden, Bill Burrough and James Barber.
