Three arrested for underage sales

A compliance check by the Decatur Police Department's Organized Crime Unit and Anti Crime Unit led to the arrest of three people, including a Hartselle woman, for selling alcohol to underage undercover agents.
Checks were conducted in several Decatur convenience stores. An undercover agent younger than 21 attempted to purchase alcohol at nine different stores. The agent was able to purchase alcohol at three of the locations.
Three clerks were arrested and charged with selling alcohol to minors. Charged were Sharon Young of 66 Seibert Heritage Private Drive in Hartselle at the Conoco Highway 31 South; Prinkal Percy, 1401 8th Ave. in Decatur at th 14th Street Chevron; and Ronald Borden, 2119 Spring Ave SW at the Busy Bee Market on 19th Ave. SE.
Each was placed under a $500 bond.
