Funeral for Owen M. "Smitty" Smith, 60, of Falkville was Saturday, Sept. 15, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Al Dean officiating.
Burial was in Lawrence Cove Cemetery.
Mr. Smith died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born August 22, 1947, in Morgan County to Owen McNeal Smith Sr. and Diris Mae England Smith. He was a crane operator for Brasfield/Gorrie Construction Co.
He is survived by his wife, Regina Lynne Beck Smith of Falkville; two daughters, Teresa Lynn Smith and Tammy Rena Smith Cox, both of Decatur; a brother, Richard Wayne Smith of Somerville; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
