Weddings and engagements

Hale, Wellman to wed
Cheryl Hale and Mr. and Mrs. Dwight K. Hale, all of Hartselle, announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelsea Marie Hale of Hartselle, to John Justin Wellman of Hayden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Chamblee of Hayden.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Willow Dean Shaneyfelt of Hartselle and the late Lester Shaneyfelt and Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Hale of Hillsboro. A 2006 graduate of Hartselle High School, she attends Wallace State Community College. She is employed with Dental Associates of Decatur.
The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Shourd of Pinson. He is a 2006 graduate of Hayden High School and is employed with Lamar Outdoor of Decatur.
The wedding is planned for Nov. 10 at 5 p.m. at Smokerise Baptist Church in Warrior.
