Funeral for Daniel West, 33, of Somerville was Saturday, Sept. 22, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Drinkard officiating.
Burial was in Hough Cemetery in Lacey's Spring.
Mr. West died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born August 29, 1974, in Morgan County to Larry Kent West and Reba Drinkard West. He attended Little Gethsemane Church. He loved hunting, fishing and animals, especially dogs. He was an honor student with the Electrical Apprenticeship Program in North Alabama.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn West of Somerville; a stepson, Nicholas Gray of Huntsville; a stepdaughter, Lissa Gray of Huntsville; his mother, Reba Lamb of Lacey's Spring; his stepfather, Victor Lamb of Lacey's Spring; his father, Larry Kent West of Somerville; his stepmother, Renee West of Somerville; two sisters, Hannah Lamb and Sarah Lamb, both of Decatur, a stepsister, Lindsey Conley of Lacey's Spring; and grandmother, Peggy Johnson of Eva.
Pallbearers were Byron Dalton, Mike Dalton, Barry Wilson, Kevin West, Donnie Pearson and Shawn Johnson.
