Frog jumping, parade part of event

Frontier Days-Eva's popular fall festival-will reach a climax on Saturday, Sept. 29, with a day-long schedule of eye-catching and fun-filled activities.
A street parade will be featured at 11 a.m. It will stretch for more than a mile and will consist of antique cars and tractors, amateur floats, marching bands, fire engines and horses and buggies pulled by mules and horses.
Other scheduled activities include a baking contest, barbecue cook-off, best dressed contest, pig calling competition, a greased pig chase and a frog jumping contest.
The festival is free and everyone is welcome.
