Man arrested for air conditioning thefts

A Cotaco man has been arrested in connection with a series of thefts from local churches.
Brent David Leeth, 29, of James Frazier Road, is charged with one county of first degree theft in connection with a series of central air conditioner thefts. Three churches, Curry Chapel CME, Gum Springs Church and Mt. Mariah Methodist Church all had central air conditioning units stolen between Sept. 16-19.
At the time of his arrest, Leeth was out on bond for a similar offense committed in June.
He is currently being held in Morgan County Jail on $76,500 bond.
