Funeral for Willis Hilton Lawrence, 77, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jess White officiating.
Burial was in Ryan Cross Roads Cemetery in Hulaco.
Mr. Lawrence died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born October 25, 1929, in Morgan County to Joe A. Lawrence and Dora Compton Lawrence. He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Hartselle.
He is survived by his wife, Willodean Stover Lawrence of Hartselle; a son, Davie Lawrence of Arab; a daughter, Sandre Ryan of Arab; two stepdaughters, Judy Williams and Teresa Ann Smith, both of Hartselle; a brother, Don Lawrence of Hartselle; two sisters, Imogene Sutterer of Calera and Marie Blackwood of Hanceville; eight grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Grandsons and nephews were pallbearers.
