Funeral for Carl "Dwight" Muzzey, 65, of Decatur was Saturday, Sept. 29, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Summerford officiating.
Burial was in Somerville Church of God Cemetery.
Mr. Muzzey died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born August 1, 1942, to Carl Sherman Muzzey and Hilda Prue Stringer Muzzey.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Beth Muzzey and a granddaughter, Amanda Ann Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Muzzey of Decatur; a son, Timothy Dwight Muzzey of New Mexico; three daughters, Penny Renea Muzzey Goodin of Deatsville; Joy Cooper and Laura Renea Cooper Woodrum, both of Decatur; two brothers, Danny Paul Muzzey and Jeff Muzzey, both of Somerville; and three sisters, Faye Trickle, Kaye Sharpe and Judy Cook, all of Somerville and Nora Sue Manley of Athens.
Pallbearers were Danny Phakornkham, William Ward, Jim Manley, Trai Hill, Kenny Woodrum and Mike Goodin.
