Clovis Draimon Young

A graveside service for Clovis Draimon Young, 86, of Hackleburg, was Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 3 p.m. at Cedar Tree Cemetery in Hackleburg with the Rev. Bobby Stancil officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Young died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born Oct. 27, 1920, in Marion County to Clovis Carl Young and Lillie Cantrell Young. He was a World War II veteran, a Methodist most of his life and most recently a member of Praise Tabernacle in Russellville. He was residing with his stepson in Hartselle at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Earlene Evans Young; a son, Carl (Butch) Young; and a sister, Betty Jane Selman.
He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Kreger and husband Jessie of Vacaville, Calif.; a stepson, William (Bill) Padgett and wife Jane of Hartselle; two brothers, Kenneth Young and wife LeClair of Sandersville, Ga. and J.T. Young and wife Jane of Birmingham; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
