Funeral for Ethelene Walden Sanford, 71, of Huntsville was Tuesday, October 16, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Leonard officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Sanford died Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, at Whitesburg Gardens Health Care Center. She was born July 28, 1936, in Morgan County to Cecil Walden and Flossie Virginia Holland Walden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Edward Sanford.
She is survived by a son, David Sanford of Huntsville; a daughter, Debbie Penn of Huntsville; her father, Cecil Walden of Decatur; three brothers, Ellis Walden of Old Navoo and Carl Walden and Junior Walden, both of Danville; and a sister, Mary Turner of Decatur.
