Brown, Leverette to wed
Tom and Beth Brown of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Claire, to Brandon David Leverette, son of Steve and Kerri Leverette of Athens.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Charles and Mary Quinn of Hartselle and Tom and Janet Brown of Hartselle. A 2002 graduate of Hartselle High School, she attended the University of North Alabama and Calhoun Community College. She is employed as a paramedic with Athens-Limestone Emergency Medical Services. The future groom is the grandson of David and Carolyn King of Athens and Juanita Leverette of Shelbyville, Tenn. and the late Howard Leverette. A 2001 graduate of Tampa Bay High School, he attended Florida College and Calhoun Community College. He is employed as a paramedic with Athens-Limestone Emergency Medical Services.
The wedding is planned for Nov. 17, 2007, at Mathews Manor in Springville.
Cook, Ward to exchange vows
Steven and Jessie Cook of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Jada Patrice, to Nicholas Bart Ward, son of Del and Anita Ward of Hartselle.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Bailey and Nada Cook of Decatur, Calvin Cathcart of Trinity and the late Patricia Cathcart. A 2004 graduate of Danville High School, she graduated cum laude at Wallace State Community College where she received her associate degree in respiratory therapy.
The future groom is the grandson of Pete and Rachel Ward of Hartselle, Mildred Clemons of Hartselle and the late William Clemons. A 1997 graduate of Hartselle High School, he received his bachelor in business from Athens State University in 2003.
The wedding is planned for Dec. 1, 2007, at West Hartselle Baptist Church.
