Funeral for Helen Brown, 72, of Valhermoso Springs was Friday, Nov. 2, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Valhermoso Holiness Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born July 7, 1935, in Morgan County to Thurston James Borden and Hester Viola Dugger Borden.
She is survived by her husband, Hoyt C. Brown of Valhermoso Springs; two sons, Steve Brown of Huntsville and Tim Brown of Valhermoso Springs; her father, Thurston James Borden of Decatur; two brothers, James Borden of Hartselle and Seybourne Borden of Trinity; two sisters, Margaret Hill of Decatur and Kathy Slayton of Decatur; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
