Virginia Louise Plemons

Funeral for Virginia Louise Plemons, 75, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m. at New Center Baptist Church with Bro. Harold Brown and Bro. Patrick Campbell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Plemons died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007, at Decatur General Hospital. She was a member of New Center Baptist Church and a member of the Somerville Senior Center. She participated in the Senior Olympic Games where she won numerous award and medals in shuffleboard competitions.She was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Laws and a sister, Venita Thrasher.
She is survived by her husband, Horace Noah Plemons of Hartselle; a son, Richard Edward Plemons of Hartselle; three daughters, Venita Faye Plemons Campbell of St. Charles, Mo., Linda Sue Plemons Hoppe of St. Louis, Mo. and Cynthia Lynn Plemons Shaw of Hartselle; a brother, Roy Laws of Collinsville, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Michael Ozanic, Edward Ozanic, Richard Plemons II, Luke Plemons, Matthew Duncan and Michael Manley.
Honorary pallbearers were David Noah Campbell and Todd Just.
