John Vernon Wilhite

Funeral for John Vernon Wilhite, 64, of Hot Springs, Ark., formerly of Falkville, was Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Roundtop Community Church with the Rev. A. Ray Lee officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery, Mr. Wilhite died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007, in Hot Springs, Ark. He was born April 26, 1943, in Morgan County to Fred C. White and Roberta Mathis Wilhite. He grew up as a Baptist, was a very religious person and served his life for God. He was preceded in death by a brother, Freddie Wilhite.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Wilhite of Hot Springs, Ark,; a son, Danny Wilhite of Hot Springs; his mother, Roberta Wilhite Wiloughby of Birmingham; three sisters, Betty Wilhite, Shirley Boyd and Mary Lou Louton, all of Birmingham; a granddaughter, Lyric Elizabeth Wilhite; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were family members and friends.
