Laurie Murphy McRae

A private graveside service for Laurie Murphy McRae, 45, of Decatur was Tuesday, Nov. 20, with the Rev. Chuck Smith officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. McRae died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at her residence. She was a member of Falkville Baptist Church. She was employed by Enquirer Printing Co., The Decatur Daily, Daikin America and Bramlett Automotive Group. She had a great love for people and nature. She was preceded in death by her father, Will Lowe Murphy.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Ralph McRae II; two sons, William Luke Patterson and Jake Franklin Patterson, her mother, Annie Mae Murphy; two sisters, Patricia Ann Ramey and Virginia Faye Murphy: and two stepchildren, Tommy Ralph McRae III and Bailie Doughty McRae.
Pallbearers were Mark Chaney, Mike Chaney, Barry Ramey, Blake Ramey, Jim Bramlett and Daniel Guess.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley.
