Funeral for Clyde “Mickey” Kent Sr., 64, of Hartselle was Sunday, Nov. 25, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Partridge officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Kent died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007, at his residence. He was a carpenter for Diertz Construction. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Jean Hamilton; his father, and a sister, Annie Elizabeth Halbrooks. He is survived by two sons, Sam Kent and Wayland Kent, both of Hartselle; his mother, Myrtics Virgina Dillbeck of Decatur; two brothers, Robert Dale Kent of Somerville and David Russell of Athens; three sisters, Eloise West of Decatur and Janice Carol Powers and Kathy Ophelia Starr, both of Somerville; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and three stepgrandchildren.
Pallbearers were Lloyd Kent, John T. Pepper, Randy Pepper, Chris Pepper, Jason Hankins, Edwin Hankins and Johnny Hankins.
