Sponsors needed for assistance program

Christmas-gift sponsors are needed for Morgan County teenagers whose families cannot afford to buy their gifts.
The Volunteer Center of Morgan County’s Teenage Holiday Assistance Program provided for 75 area youths last year.
Anyone willing to help by providing direct sponsorship, shopping, or giving money should call Dawnell Merrill who is the Adult and Family Services Administrator for the Volunteer Center at 355-8628.
It costs $75 to $100 to sponsor one teenager, but any amount will be accepted.
All the teenagers registered are aged 13 - 18 and still in school.
