Gwendolyn Crowson Honea

A graveside service for Gwendolyn Crowson Honea, 74, of Huntsville was Friday, Nov. 30, at 3 p.m. at Madison City Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Redfearn officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Honea died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007, at Whitesburg Gardens Health Care in Huntsville. She was born Sept. 21, 1933, in Texas. She was a member of West Hartselle Baptist Church, enjoyed sewing and working with other handcrafts and baking for friends and family. While living in Madison, she was involved in local politics.
She is survived by a son, Walter Lee Honea and wife Sindi Snoddy of Taft, Tenn,; a daughter, Cindy Honea Sparkman and husband Dan of Hartselle; a sister, Peggy Crowson Cassel of Madisonville, Tex; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
