A praise service for Donna Louise Terry of Hartselle was Monday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m. at Seventh Street Baptist Church in Cullman.
Mrs. Terry died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at her residence. She was a registered nurse for 43 years and retired in 2001. Her love in life was her Lord, her family, her music and her work in nursing. Her request was for her body to be donated to cancer and medical research in the hope of helping others with medical conditions. She was preceded in death by her father, Carroll Cook, a brother, Corlin Cook and an infant brother.
She is survived by her husband, James Terry of Hartselle; two sons, Steve Tallyn and wife Cheryl and grandchildren Sam and Emma, of Franklin, Tenn. and Bruce Tallyn and wife Tiffani of Huntsville; a stepson, Donny Terry and wife Sabrina and grandchildren Brannon and Cal of Trinity; he r mother, Rosa Cook; a sister, Carolyn Johnson and husband Gary of Overland Park, Kan.; a brother, David Cook and wife Ingrid of Joseph, Ore.; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Head and husband Jerry of Kearney, Mo.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Donna Terry Memorial Fund for Missions at Seventh Street Baptist Church in Cullman.
