Frankie ‘Honey Bun’ Merrell Jr.

A double funeral service for Frankie “Hunny Bun” Merrell Jr. 47, of Hartselle was Friday, Dec. 7, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday, Dec. 8, at 11 a.m. at Collinsville Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. John McPeek officiated.
Burial was in New Testament Holiness Cemetery in Collinsville.
Mr. Merrell died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Aug. 22, 1960, in Nashville, Tenn. to Jesse Franklin Merrell Sr. and Pauline Eads Merrell. He was associate pastor at Pattillo Street Church of God. He also was associated with Christ Fellowship Church of God, East Lawrence Church of God and Bill’s Chapel Church of God during the past 10 years. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janelle Marie Merrell of Hartselle; and two sons, Jesse Merrell and Steven Len Merrell, both of Hartselle.
