Through Dec. 31
Huntsville Botanical Garden's Galaxy of Light is back this year with its lighted holiday displays.
Drive-through nights are Nov. 22-Dec. 31 from 5:30-9 p.m. Drive through is $12 per car with a $1 discount for donated canned food, paper product, pet food, children's book, coat or Toys for Tots item. A $2 discount is also available for drive-through tickets purchased in advance at the garden.
Dec. 14-15
The Backstage Theatre Co. and OnStage Entertainment will present “Little Miss Moonshine” in the coming week.
Dinner theater will be Dec. 14 and 15 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person. The meal is catered.
General admission performance is Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12. Tickets may be purchased by calling Studio One at 309-0041 from 2-6:30 p.m. daily. Performances take place at the Studio One Playhouse, 214 East Moulton Street, in Decatur.
Dec. 15-16
The fifth annual Christmas on Ice Show will be at Point Mallard Ice Complex Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. and 16 at 2p.m. This year's show is "The Show Must Go On" a way, way off Broadway production. Cost is $5 in advance or $6 at the door; children under four free. Call 341-4913 for information.
Dec. 16-18
Christmas at the Creek, featuring lights, dinners, music and special program is planned for Dec. 16-18 from 6-8 p.m. at Quail Creek Golf Resort. Cost is $15 for adults, $10 for age 10 and younger. Menu is smoked turkey breast with white sauce, mashed potato casserole, green beans, glazed carrots, salad, rolls, desert and drink. Call 784-5033 for reservations.
Dec. 18
The Civic Clubs of Hartselle's annual SNAP Celebration will be Dec, 18 at Quail Creek Golf Resort. Dinner and entertainment start at 8 p.m.
