Funeral for Johnny Latham, 53, of Danville was Monday, Dec, 10, at 1 p.m. at Enon Baptist Church with Bros. Steve Ledbetter and Barrett Long officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery,
Mr. Latham died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, at Decatur General Hospital, He was born Jan. 24, 1954, to Howard and Mable Latham. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Joe Johnson; three sisters, Jan Latham, Jennifer Latham and Joan Latham; a nephew, Rodney Johnson; and a granddaughter, Ragan Danielle Latham.
He is survived by his wife, Freida Latham of Danville; two sons, Jeremy Latham and wife Kim of Decatur and Jonathan Latham of Danville; a daughter, Kelley Dutton and husband Cory of Trinity; three brothers, James Latham and wife Debbie of Moulton, and Jackie Latham and wife Susan and Jerry Latham and wife Vickie, all of Trinity; five sisters, Joyce Campbell and husband Vernon of Hatton, Jean Livingston and husband Ken of Priceville, Jane Alexander and husband Ray and Janice Alexander and Husband Jimmy, all of Trinity,. And Judy Terry and husband Tony of Decatur; three grandchildren, Kaitlin Dutton and Kenzie Dutton, both of Trinity, and Lizzie Latham of Decatur,
Nephews were pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers were Billy Henley, Roger McGregor, Jerry Preuitt, Johnny Wilson and employees of Duracoat Products of Madison. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
