Man charged with pool equipment theft

A 25-year-old Lacey’s Spring man is in hot water after allegedly stealing items from a swimming pool.
Jason Lee Sharp, 25, of 1012 Lower Dry Creek Road, is charged with theft of property in the first degree. Sharp is accused of the April 25 theft of a pool pump and slide from Ann Daniels. The pool items were valued at $2,500 and Sheriff’s Department officials said the items were sold for scrap metal.
There is another suspect in the case and the investigation continues.
Sharp is being held in the Morgan County Jail on $1,500 bond.
