Funeral for Paul Lee Weaver, 85, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hal Daigre officiating.
Burial was in Greenhill Cemetery in Greensboro, N.C.
Mr. Weaver died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, at his residence. He was born Feb. 25, 1922, in North Carolina to Edgar Weaver and Rosa Weaver. He was a U.S. Army-Air Force Veteran of World War II and a retired purchasing manager for Pet Milk Co.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Weaver of Hartselle; a son Baron “Buddy” Weaver of Maryland; a daughter, Linda Vassar of Hartselle; five grandchildren; and 10 great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers were John Weaver, Skylar Evans, Weston Evans, Adam Miller, Ryan Moore and Tyler Vassar.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
