Funeral for Rebe Barnett, 56, of Hartselle was Monday, Dec. 10, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Melvin Brown officiating.
Burial was in Blue Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Barnett died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at his residence. He was born Feb. 19, 1951, in Morgan County to Zack Barnett and Gracie Key Barnett. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a true friend who was loved by all who knew him and will be missed dearly by all who loved him. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Jimmy and William Barnett and a sister, Tippy Collins.
He is survived by his wife, LouAnn Barnett of Hartselle; three sons, Randell Barnett and wife Christy of Hartselle, Raylon Barnett and wife Denise of Somerville and Matthew Barnett of Albertville; four daughters, ReDena Childers of Hartselle, Amy Nelms and husband Chris of Somerville, Amanda Garrison and husband B.J. of Falkville and Jessica Proctor of Moulton; five brothers, Earl Barnett, Buddy Barnett and David Barnett, all of Hartselle, Rayburn Barnett of Somerville and Zack Barnett of Lacey’s Spring; four sisters, Ruth Blocker , Helen Bailey Luci Brown and Ann Barnett, all of the Hartselle/Somerville area; and 15 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Chris Nelms, Eddie Barnett, Joey Barnett, Dikie Baily, Buddy May and Kim Mackey.
